Service Descriptions
Senior Services:
If you have a loved one that would like regular visits, needs a helping hand, or just someone to check in on them, Girl Friday's is here to help. We also provide follow up calls or emails, if you'd like. Senior services are limited to helping with tasks/errands/check-ins and delivering/picking up items such as food, groceries, medicine, etc. Girl Friday's can not distribute medicine or provide any nursing care. (Senior services are for those aged 65+.
New Mother Concierge Services:
Being a new mother is a joyous occasion that should be spent bonding with your new baby and healing from childbirth. Unfortunately, we are expected to pick right back up where we left off... at Girl Friday's we believe strongly that every new mother deserves a helping hand. We're happy to be there for you to get all your chores and errands accomplished.
Hospital/Home Bound Services:
At Girl Friday's we know that life isn't always as kind as we'd like it to be. If you are stuck in the hospital or are homebound for a while, we are there to help you in whatever way we can. Please note, Girl Friday's cannot distribute medicine or provide any nursing care.
House Sitting:
With Girl Friday's you have a lot less to worry about when you have to leave town, whether it's for a day, week, or even months. We can perform security checks, water your plants, pick up your mail, open and close the curtains and blinds, etc. Whatever you need to keep your home in tip-top shape while you're away, we'll get it done.
Pet Sitting:
At Girl Friday's we absolutely love fur babies (and non-furry babies, we don't discriminate) and can provide care for them in the familiar surroundings of their own home. We can visit a few times a day to take care of feeding, watering, exercising, giving medications, and cleaning up after any little messes. Let us know your pet's needs and we will accommodate in any way we can.
Party/Event Planning:
Give us any reason to celebrate, and we're all over it! Girl Friday's can help you with any of your party planning needs, whether it's a little or a lot. Need someone to decorate/undecorate, make reservations, order and/or pick up supplies, serve food and drinks, hire entertainment? Girl Friday's will be there from the planning stage to cleaning up the aftermath.
Concierge Services:
If you are planning to visit our beautiful little town of Coudersport, Girl Friday's can help to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. We can book your hotel/inn, help you find restaurants suited to your tastes, rent a car, and help you in planning which sites to see as well as finding events/activities you will enjoy. We hope you will love visiting our community as much as we love being a part of it.
Travel Services:
Planning a trip out of town can be pretty stressful. At Girl Friday's we will do all we can to make sure your travel goes as smoothly as possible. We'll book your flight, bus, train, or car. We'll make hotel and dining reservations, and research any happenings going on in your destination at the time of your trip and make reservations accordingly. Whatever you may need to make your trip more enjoyable, we're here to help.
Errand and Personal Services:
Got lots of errands, but limited on time? No problem! We'll do the running for you, such as picking up prescriptions, going to the post office, ordering, picking up, and delivering flowers/cards, personal shopping, item pick-up, etc. (Please note, at this time we are not able to pick up large items due to vehicle size, if there is a large item you need us to pick up, we can try and arrange it, but extra costs will likely be incurred).
Courier/Delivery Services:
Do you have important items, parts, documents, or packages that need to be delivered today? No worries, we're on it! We'll take them wherever they need to be quickly and efficiently. (Please note, at this time we are not able to pick up large items due to vehicle size, if there is a large item you need us to pick up, we can try and arrange it, but extra costs will likely be incurred).
Service/Rate Research:
Need your car inspected, roof fixed, plumbing help, or any other service but don't know where to go? Let Girl Friday's research the best businesses with the best rates for you.
Waiting Services:
Are you expecting a home delivery or a service/repair person, but can't be there? Stress no more, Girl Friday's will do the waiting for you! Say goodbye to wasted days, and hello to more "you time."
Plant-Based Cooking/Produce Prep:
We all want to eat more fresh food but often cannot fit the prep time into our busy schedules... Girl Friday's can help by cutting, slicing, dicing, and cooking up your plant-based foods so your meal prep will be a breeze.
Virtual Assistant Services:
Want to take advantage of Girl Friday's services but aren't in the immediate area? No problem! We will take care of the back office work for you. We can check and respond to your e-mails, make your phone calls, write your blog posts, create newsletters and documents, etc. (Writing samples available upon request).
Out of Town Services:
Need that perfect gift, toy, book, food item, etc and can't find it in town? Girl Friday's will travel for you and get you everything you need.
Special Occasion Services:
Girl Friday's loves special occasions! Birthday, Valentines Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Anniversary, whatever the occasion, Girl Friday's can help. Picking up/delivering cards, presents, flowers, etc. Decorating/undecorating, gift wrapping, singing telegrams, date night planning... You name it, we can help!
Personal and Small Business Assistance:
Girl Friday's offers organization/filing/data Entry – Getting papers, receipts, recipes, etc organized as well as data entry in Office Suite, Quickbooks, etc.
Housework Chores:
Trouble keeping up with all the housework, or maybe you just don't want to? Girl Friday's has you covered! Give us a call and we will come in and wash, sweep, mop, dust, tidy, and all the rest.
Laundry Services:
Laundry adds up quickly... But have no fear because at Girl Friday's we will sort, wash, dry, fluff, and fold your clothes. We can work in your home or head on over to the laundromat.
Grocery Shopping:
Grocery shopping can be time-consuming and we often overspend by getting spur of the moment items that aren't on our list, but if you call Girl Friday's we'll shop for you... just make a list (we'll stick to it), tell us your preferred store, and we'll get it all done for you.
Food Pick-up and Delivery:
Are you feeling hungry, but can't get away? Call Girl Friday's, and we will pick up from any restaurant of your choice (including Sheetz) and deliver those items to you, wherever you are.
Other Services:
At Girl Friday's we pride ourselves on being Jills of all trades, so if you do not see a service listed that you wish to have rendered, please feel free to contact us. We can do just about anything, so long as it is both legal and ethical. Please try and schedule services in advance whenever possible.
